Moral reconation therapy (mrt) is a cognitive-behavioral program that addresses beliefs and reasoning. It is a systematic, step-by-step group counseling treatment approach for treatment-resistant clients.  The program is designed to alter how clients think and make judgments about what is right and wrong.

Mrt is taught in a group setting with the client utilizing a workbook. Clients complete workbook homework prior to coming to each session. In the group, clients present their homework and the facilitator passes the client to the next step — or has the client re-do the homework based on objective criteria. All MRT groups are open-ended, meaning that new clients can enter an ongoing group at any time.

If you have been ordered to complete an mrt course, please give us a call to enquire about the class schedule.
